We’re thrilled to introduce a new set of features, enhancements, and bug fixes in this release, designed to improve the overall BookingKoala experience. Google Calendar Integration

Available for Growing and Premium plans, the new Google Calendar integration makes booking management easier than ever by syncing appointments directly to your calendar. Features include:

  • Effortless syncing of new, rescheduled, or canceled bookings.

  • Customizable calendar entries (map fields such as title, description, etc.).

  • Bulk sync options to keep your calendar fully updated.

  • Provider and staff calendar syncing with permissions for streamlined control.

New Stripe Connection Methods

We've introduced new ways to connect your Stripe account for providers in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia:

1. Bank Account: Connect via bank details.

2. Debit Card: Use a debit card for seamless connection.

3. Direct Stripe Account Creation: Create a Stripe account from within BookingKoala using either Custom Restricted or Custom Completed accounts.

4. Faster Connection Setup: Create and connect a fully completed Stripe account using just bank or debit card details, without needing to access the Stripe interface.

Make (Integromat) Integration

Make (Integromat) integration is live, enabling powerful automation across your BookingKoala operations. Supported triggers include:

  • New, updated, completed, and canceled bookings.

  • New customer, updated customer, and more.

Flexible Handling of Cash/Check Bookings

We’ve introduced the ability to revert bookings paid via cash or check back to a "Pending" status, allowing admins to reattempt charges or make booking adjustments more easily.


Checklist Module: Form Conditions and Dependencies
You can now show or hide tasks in the checklist module based on specific form conditions and booking parameters, improving customization and flexibility.

  • Theme-builder: Gallery Editing Fix

   Fixed an issue where gallery edits were not being properly reflected.

  • Admin-Main: Timezone Issue with Rating Listings

   Resolved an issue where ratings were displayed with incorrect timezones.

  • Theme-builder: Button Customization Issue on List Section

   Addressed a bug preventing proper button customization in the list section.

  • Custom Field Issue on Customer and Admin Form  

   Fixed an issue where custom fields were not displaying correctly on both the customer and admin forms.

  • Booking Time Log Map View Issue (iFrame)

   Resolved an issue causing booking time logs not to display properly within iframes on the booking time log admin form.

  • Booking Form: Wildcard Zip Code Issue

   Addressed an issue where wildcard zip codes were not functioning as expected on the booking form.

  • Duplicate Booking Card Hold Point

   Fixed an issue where duplicate card holds were being created for the same booking.

  • Notification Checkbox on Customer Profile Update

   Added a new checkbox to trigger notifications when a customer profile is updated.

  • TrackBy Issue on Invoice Listings

   Resolved a bug affecting invoice listings where trackBy wasn’t functioning correctly.

  • Checklist Builder: Delete Industry Dependency 

    Addressed a bug where deleting an industry caused unintended issues in the checklist builder.

  • Theme-builder: Color Customization Issue on Booking Form 

    Fixed color customization problems for booking forms built with the theme builder.

  • Custom Field Validation on Multi-Step Form 

    Corrected required validation errors on customer multi-step forms.

  • Add Card Link on Customer Profile 

    Introduced a new ‘Add card link’ button on the customer profile page for easier management.

  • New Add Card Notifications

    Admins and staff will now receive notifications when a new card is added by a customer.

  • Provider on the Way’ Notification 

    A new notification has been added to alert customers when their provider is en route.

  • Booking Form: Tax Application Issue

    Fixed a bug where tax was sometimes not being applied correctly to bookings.

  • Hiring Form: Special Character Issue

    Fixed an issue where special characters were causing problems with the number input on hiring forms.

  • Exclude Notification Checkbox in Customer Profile Update

    Added an option to exclude notifications when updating a customer profile.

  • Improved Booking Notifications

    Adjustments to the New Booking and New Booking in Unassigned Folder notifications have been made to improve accuracy.

  • Provider Notification Fix for Unassigned Folder

    Providers will now only receive the New Booking in Unassigned Folder notification if the booking is visible to them.

  • Improved System Logs for Notifications

    Enhanced system logs to provide more detailed tracking for sent notifications.

  • Quote Redirection Issue

    Fixed an issue where some users were incorrectly redirected due to a `/` in the quote share link.

  • Hourly Service Price Option (Form 5)

    Resolved an issue where the option to set an hourly service price was missing when Form 5 was used in certain default service categories.

  • Incorrect Card Details Shown After Capture

    Fixed a bug where incorrect card details (last four digits) were displayed after a card hold capture.

  • Custom Fields Display Issues on Customer Apps

    Resolved issues where custom fields were not displaying correctly in customer apps.

  • Negative Value in Service Category Pricing

    Support for negative values in the Set Service Category Price field was added for more flexible pricing options.

  • Display Archived Service Category in Auto Charge Bookings

    Archived service categories will now be displayed in the auto-charge booking settings.

  • Special Character Validation for Coupons

    Added validation for special characters in coupon names, codes, and descriptions.

  • Revenue Report Issue  

    Fixed an issue where revenue reports were not displaying correctly.

  • Theme-builder: Live Review Customization Issue

    Resolved a customization issue affecting live reviews in the theme builder.

  • Zapier Coupon Sync Issue

    Fixed a synchronization issue where percentage-based coupon discounts were causing data discrepancies in Zapier.

  • Blog Share on Facebook Pages
    Added the option to share blogs directly on any Facebook page, streamlining the process of engaging with your audience on social media.

  • Rating Filter Added to Rating Listing
    A new rating filter has been introduced, allowing users to filter ratings by star count (1-star, 2-star, etc.) for easier review and management.

  • Resend Invoice Feature
    The invoicing experience has been enhanced with a new Resend Invoice feature, offering the ability to resend invoices via email or SMS, with options for automatic resending, CC emails, and attaching PDFs. Click here to learn more.
